Policy analysis found DNS error on the target domain

Further to my problem with error 400 4.4.0 I found that
I need to set the router confioguration flag enable-router.
I couldn't find out how to do this so I hacked the variable
to be on by default (yes, I'm desperate!).
This makes the error at MAIL FROM go away.
However, I now get an error at the RCPT TO stage.
Here's what fetchmail says:
