fqdn_neighbour error problem

$ /usr/sbin/sendmail -bt

z# rrouter test@foobar.com
Usage: get variable-name key
Usage: get variable-name key
(((smtp foobar.com test@foobar.com)))

Does anyone have any hints/tips clues on how to track down the cause of
the 'get variable-name key' error?

I have traced it down to 'fqdn_neighbour' however since the STDOUT of
this function is used at a return value and the error goes to STDERR (or
basically the equivalent for the zmsh interpreter) I can't get the
correct interleave of the STDOUT and STDERR to work out where in
'fqdn_neigh' this error is coming from.

I am using the stock fqdnalias.cf from 2.99.55.
