Here is there error I get with a plain vanilla .forward file (no semicolon)

Input file line number 1:
Error in "listaddresses" /home/aquarius/testuser/.forward .forward expansion address:

        chris@pooh.cc.ucf.edu
        ^-missing semicolon to end mail group

<19980318140833Z83079-21380+1@aquarius.cc.ucf.edu>: address: postmaster


forward file has:

testuser:chris@aquarius.cc.ucf.edu
\testuser


What is the deal here ???
