.forward files and smtp-policy

This is probably not a real bug nor a problem, but perhaps you can give
me some advice...

I have a problem with people using .forward files in the domains that I
relay mail for. An example:

The domain camk.edu.pl hass _full_rights. A user in camk.edu.pl gets a
mail from xxx@cbatmpc.harvard.edu, has a .forward file pointing to
xxx@astro.ioffe.rssi.ru. The folks at camk.edu.pl use my mailer as a
relay for .ru.

As a result, my mailer sees MAIL From: <xxx@cbatmpc.harvard.edu>, RCPT
To: <xxx@astro.ioffe.rssi.ru> and rejects it promptly with a 453 Policy
rejection on the target address.

Now, shouldn't the .forwarding mailer change the From line appropriately
when using a relay ?

Is there anything I can do about this ?
