DNS inconsistency lurks again...


Just when I thought I had handled it, it surfaced again,
but then, even DIG behaved rather weirdly on this one:

<smtp eggz.houston.omnes.net root@eggz.houston.omnes.net 60000>: smtp; 500 (nameserver data inconsistency. No MX, no address: 'eggz.houston.omnes.net', errno=Interrupted system call, gai_errno='name or service is not known')

So, eggz is CNAME to another object, which in turn has only A record.

Sigh... Ok, I knew the "snap2" would have snags in it, just not this kind..
