Mostly they are historic, however at least on the early days
	there was IDEA behind them...

The idea is for heterogenous systems where one server
has MAILSHARE files (config scripts, et.al. sharable),
each ARCHITECTURE has their own MAILBIN, and each domain
(or machine) has MAILVAR for things like aliases database.

There are files which reside on the $MAILSHARE/, at least:
	    router.cf, smtpserver.conf, sm.conf, scheduler.conf

.. but nobody runs heterogenous "shops", do they ?
