Which scheduler version?

  Which scheduler version does everyone find to be most stable?  I've 
been using the 2.99.10 scheduler with good results for about 5 months 
(except for those darn bogus (hopefully!) error messages).  

  This is an example of what I typically see.  The "lockaddr" message is 
something new, but the "Cannot open control file" seems to be a long 
standing bug that appears to be in the 2.99.14 scheduler as well (but 
much worse, running testload.sh would generate a 4 meg scheduler log!).  
Does anyone have a clue on the cause of this?  I've been thinking of 
spending some time debuging this, so having a general idea would be helpful.
