Path data: After a '!', a non alphanumeric element

mail from:<abc!def@online.ru>
250 2.1.0 Sender syntax Ok
rset
250 2.0.0 2.0.0 Reset processed, now waiting for MAIL command
mail from:<abc!_def@online.ru>
501-5.1.7 For input: <<abc!_def@online.ru>
501 5.1.7 Path data: After a '!', a non alphanumeric element

I think that the path data is syntactically "local part" and therefore
may contain '_'. We have problems with some of our peers who prefer
to send "mail from" in the format like above. Any comments?
