Unfortunately, a lot of software development takes place within the
United States.  Most software developers look at the trouble of adding
encryption to their products and decide to not even bother...

(Don't get me started on a rant, please... we're just now getting our
GSM fixes, and even that's on the wrong frequency ;-)  -rt
