error in ORCPT reported by Sendmail 8.8.6 (again)

Hello again.. I didn't get any replies on this so I thought I'd try
again..
This time a few users are complaining that they can't send email to
rbcds.com
They get back the following error message:

<smtp rbcds.com nross@rbcds.com 60001>: ...\
	<<- RCPT To:<nross@rbcds.com> NOTIFY=FAILURE,DELAY
ORCPT=rfc822;nross@rbcds.com
	->> 501 <nross@rbcds.com>... Syntax error in ORCPT parameter
value (this is abnormal, investigate!)
 

So I went through the zmailer logs and sure enough this is what I found:

I've looked up RFC 1891 and the ORCPT param looks ok to me. Can anyone
else here see why sendmail 8.8.6 would be complaining?
