My activity has concentrated at the scheduler to improve its
behaviour, and lessen surprises to the operators.

Some people had noticed "Cannot open ..." diagnostics logged
to the scheduler log, and were wondering what those were.
The messages were delivered successfuly, however the reference
to the message was piped to the transporters a bit too many times
(one extra is one extra, max extra is tunable, and depends upon
 the pipesize of your host..)  anyway, all those extras caused
the worrysome looking error diagnostics..

The router/functions.c:rd_doit() got some additional rewrite for
stable behaviour in multi-process environment -- in fact it does
now behave exactly the same in all modes -- from single-process-
to multi-process ones.  (It may behave a bit erratic on Sun Solaris
where user's process-id numbers appear to start from "2"..)
