Use of ROUTERDIRHASH= isn't necessary for the multiple
parallel ROUTERDIRS= to work. Indeed it probably doesn't
work (as you observed) until very recently.
Version where it does work is:
2.99.56-patch1pre #1: Thu Nov 20 14:46:33 EET 2003
and looks like extract from CVS.
Details in ROUTERDIRS= functionality have varied over years.
It should work -- at 2.99.56, except, perhaps, if you have
Solaris system.. in which case you will need CVS extract.
