  Drat...  That is propably ultra-sensitivity of linkage-order, OR
  that you have multiple domains mentioned at /etc/resolv.conf for
  the 'search' entry -- no, that (I think) manifested as SIGSEGV..
  It must be the ultra-sensitivity of the linkage order, or perhaps
  some library is not linked in, but is needed ?

  See what 'mailq' linkage runs, which libraries it links.
  Then see if their order should be different, or some such mystic...

  Yes, on Solaris 2.6 boxes, and never understood it.
