If you for some obscure reason are mounting {\tt \$MAILBOX}es and/or {\tt 
\$POSTOFFICE} hierarchies via NFS, do it with options to disable various 
attribute
caches:
                actimeo=0
      alias:    noac



{\bf The best advice is to NOT to mount anything over NFS}, but some people 
can't be persuaded...
