smtp problems

I am trying to install a new version of zmailer and I am having a strange 
problem. 

I have one site gottash.com for which we do mail relaying. we have a few 
other clients who are setup in the same way. What seems to happen with 
gottash is that the mail is sent via SMTP directly back to us. So that in 
the smtpserver log I see a connection from caesasr( our mail machine) to 
caesar.

I run the router interactivly and test the route and I get

(((smtp mail.gottash.com csturn@gottash.com default_attributes)))

which is about what I would expect.  When I check the scheduler logs I find.

command (this is abnormal, investigate!)

Any pointers on where to start looking?
