Delivery status really successful? No!
There is another incorrect (?) situation:
=====
<local adrpete@win.pop.online.ru adrpete 60001>: ...\
expired after 3 hours, problem was:
message write to "/var/mail/adrpete" failed: No such file or directory
--A4263.849716763=_/deimos
Content-Type: message/delivery-status
Reporting-MTA: dns; deimos
Arrival-Date: Wed, 4 Dec 1996 16:27:47 +0300
Original-Recipient: rfc822;adrpete@win.pop.online.ru
Final-Recipient: X-LOCAL;vvksuppo
Action: delivery
Status: 2.2.0 (Delivered successfully)
Diagnostic-Code: x-local; 250 (Delivered successfully)
=====
I am not sure if "message write failed" may be regarded as "Delivered
successfully"...
Anyway, the original problem is quite unclear itself. The mailbox is
a normal existing and writable file. What *is* unusual in this message
is that it has
Content-type: application/octet-stream
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
and probably real binary data in the message body.
