Well, copying it from inside my firewalled machine to
FUNET took about two hours... I just got thru the
train-trip between Helsinki and Turku, and got to
university to check a couple things here before going
home -- and initiating a modem call ;-)

There is special directory cache system that tries to
minimize the need to rescan directory, and stat all
files all the time, however it always lags behind when
	things are changeing under it.

Two hours... slowest connection that I have seen in here.
Especially as it SHOULD be at least 10 Mbps all the way
(several 34 Mbps, and faster ATM links..)
In fact I think I could have uploaded it via 9.6kbps modem
	faster than thru that link...

While in train, I got a word that the FICIX network
interchange point has some problems, and everybody's
traffic must go to DCIX at Stockholm to get in between
Finnish internet operators. FUNET link to Stockholm
is ok (34 Mbps), but others try to play with slow wires,
like 2 Mbps, and hitting there intra-finnish 155 Mbps
	traffic is rather hopeless...
