compilation in Solaris 2.5

Hi there,

I am trying to compile the 2.99.30 distribution under Solaris 2.5, but 
in vain.

When I simply type
	./configure
to configure the configuration, I got the message:
	configure: error: bizzare -- the system does not have dup2!

So, I try ./configure --with-gcc. But then I got compilation errors 
for files in libresolv during make. 

I am interested in hearing tips for installing 2.99.30 under Solaris 
2.5 with gcc 2.7.2.
