By that logic, if I say I want to be able to inject email into you mail
spool just by using vi and specifying at the top of the line "To: That
Armin Guy" it should figure it all out by itself. Hey, it's my mailing
system...
I agree that zmailer shouldn't reject such messages if it can reasonably
process them... but it *should* log an error, report it in the headers of
the message, and notify both sender and recipient of the malformation.
BTW, another recent incompatibility I saw was that some older sendmail's
allowed you to do "HELO <foo>", but would treat the <>'s as part of the
hostname, which may or may not get stripped out later. Now newer ones will
reject hostnames with <>'s.
