Installing zmailer

Greetings:

I have compiled Zmailer 2.2 on AIX 3.2 and am trying to install 
it. The 'make install' works but when I run router interactively
(router -i), I get the message: "zmailer: not found".

I searched the entire system for 'zmailer' without success.
Am I overlooking something? Shouldn't it be in $MAILBIN?
(Am I losing my mind?)

Any help is appreciated.
